Sappi Ideas that Matter (grant applicant)
Now in the third iteration of MAPS (MAPS#3) the city plans to continue its efforts to create a more walk-able community. With very little public transportation and a total area of 620.34 square miles, OKC has developed a car culture unequaled by many. But this mindset is starting to change; people are venturing out into their neighborhoods. The timing for the launch of this project is perfect.
Envisioned as a family friendly event Ride & Seek would be held every other month, from spring to the beginning of fall, in a different neighborhood across the Metro.
